How to register as a DRep? Just follow 3 simple steps:
Step 1: Visit https://tempo.vote and connect your wallet
Make sure you have installed wallet extensions that support governance, such as Eternl, Yoroi, Lace, Vespr...
Click on the 'Connect Wallet' button, select your wallet, and confirm the connection.
Step 2: Click "Register as a DRep" and fill in the form.
Fill in the information for your DRep profile (DRep name is required)
Activating your DRep Community allows Tempo to create a space for you to engage with your delegators, hear their ideas, and receive feedback. Delegators hold voting power based on the ADA they delegate. The 2 ADA activation fee helps maintain a meaningful community by reducing spam.
Step 3: Submit the form and sign on-chain.
Finally, click the "Register" button and sign the transaction on-chain.
Tempo simplifies the process of uploading metadata to IPFS, generating a URL and hash, and storing it on-chain in a transaction. We also allow you to easily access and manage your metadata later.
Sign the transaction.
You will receive a popup notification confirming successful DRep registration
Great news! Now that you've become a DRep, ADA holders can start delegating to you.
